Understanding Academic Integrity - This is a short course that fulfills the consequence of being reported for a second violation of the RCC Academic Integrity Policy. The policy, which is found in the RCC Catalog & Student Handbook, states that, for a second violation, a student must engage in an intervention activity pertaining to academic honesty and the college's Academic Integrity Policy. This is arranged through the Vice President for Student Development. Satisfactory completion of this activity will be required in order to be eligible to register for the following term's courses. If the student fails to participate in and complete the required activity, the result will be the imposition of the sanction for a third violation (suspension from the college for two consecutive academic terms).

It's important that you complete this brief course so that you will be able to fully understand all of the aspects of our Academic Integrity Policy - especially so that you will exercise care never to receive another violation! Your educational future is too important to jeopardize.

You are required to complete each topic in order before moving to the next topic. You cannot move forward without completing each topic in sequence. You are not permitted to jump directly to the quiz in Topic 10 without completing the other topics in sequence.
